Counselling Psychology is a collaborative approach used to help with a wide variety mental health issues and disorders, as well as to help manage difficult life events (such as bereavement), past and present relationships.
A counselling psychologist will examine your experience and explore underlying issues. They use an active, collaborative approach to empower you to change a certain behaviour, and use a holistic stance, which involves examining the issues you are facing, within the wider context of what has given rise to them.
Counselling psychology can be short or longer term. Sessions usually last an hour and take place weekly.
Here you will find brief details of the Counselling Psychologists working at the Centre. Follow the links for further details.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything about the therapy offered, you can contact each therapist directly.
