Schema therapy is an innovative therapy developed for people where CBT might not be helping enough. This therapy looks at so called schemas, which are longstanding patterns of behaviour, thoughts, memories and feelings that have developed from childhood into adulthood.
Schema therapy combines elements of CBT, Gestalt therapy and object relations into one systematic approach, which helps people to overcome their longer standing emotional problems and the problems they face in their relationships with others.
